  Manually installing "Steamworks Common Redistributables" AppID 228980 will cause the install script to run and fixes the corrupted graphics issues. Not sure why the above package isn't being installed by default.

  @nectariner We are having similar issues on Manjaro (using latest Kernel 5.15) on an Intel Core i5-11400 with the built-in Intel UHD Graphics 730. Tried several different Proton versions.
