  You can workaround the crashing when starting a game if you "Set Launch Options" to: `PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%` Proton 3.16-6.

  can confirm the issue, with the new proton 3.16.5 beta aswell. they did something about .NET compatibility.... but i am not sure if its related to kenshi in any case.... bought it today and it seems i need to install win...
