I had some trouble identifying the right Steam.desktop but it indeed contained `PrefersNonDefaultGPU=true`. Removing that and rebooting solves the issue. Thank you for the help and Merry Christmas, @kisak-valve!

Hi @kisak-valve, thanks! If I run steam from the terminal everything works fine! Is there a way I can configure steam to never use the iGPU? It doesn't even have a monitor attached.
