  I retested, and I'm not seeing a crash, but the editor window doesn't appear to be rendering a 3D scene. I don't know how to use this program, so I don't know if that's expected behavior or not.

  I'm having the same issue where it's crashing at step 2 (the official REDKit, not the playtest). I installed dotnet40 and dotnet48 and am still having the same issue (Proton Experimental and same WINE version).
