  It takes much longer, but FAudio eventually crashes in the same places with files transcoded to ogg. Possibly some random chance to crash, and because the generated media is so short, it loops through them sooner?

  The Proton log hints that it needs transcoded variants of song1.wma, song2.wma, and song3.wma. When it can't get any of them, it retries in a loop until it gives up and falls over in faudio.
