  Nevermind, it still freezes on the newer Mesa. Do I need to say something elsewhere to get this fixed?

  I tried again with the oibaf PPA, I think it's fine now? It didn't freeze at all this last run, though it got cut short.

  Just in case it was some jank with my install, I refreshed my install, and even updated to Pop!_OS 22.04, and it still freezes and crashes.

  Oh, I should've mentioned the freeze is temporary. It doesn't last more than 10 seconds normally, but it's a whole system freeze. I'll try updating the drivers.
