Any tips on what debug options I should turn on to understand which "filename" is not found? Or is it a rendering issue indeed? The error message is confusing.
I have noticed that if I use any new version of Proton-GE, the game crashes immediately with the "filename not found" dialog, and if I use Proton 4.11-13, it takes much longer to get to the crash -- but it still happens....

Ah, I am playing the game with a Valve Index and Valve Index controllers. Just to be clear. Also, I can try and get another steam-991260.log for when the game gets silent, if needed.
