In Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, the textures (particularly the Advanced Suit's webbing) load slowly, and this can be noted upon first loading the game or while playing the game throughout, where after swinging or fighting for a while, if you look at the suit, you'll notice it uses the extremely low quality versions of the webbing.

The high quality textures take a while to load in (10+ seconds), to the point this becomes extremely noticeable especially during extended play sessions in cutscenes. You can easily see it on the smaller areas of the suits, such as Spider-Man's hands, or his feet. I don't believe this is an issue in Windows, but perhaps someone can verify.

Here's some example of how the webbing looked like for me after a few minutes of swinging and fighting:

And here's how it should look like:

Using no_upload_hvv helps this issue as the textures load in almost immediately, but unlike playing the game without it, they don't stay loaded in high quality and quickly revert to their low quality mipmaps until you look at them closely again.

I've noticed this issue only happens when the texture quality is set to High or Very High, and I've experienced it on both my desktop Linux PC as well as the Steam Deck (where it's even more noticeable) for years, regardless of what combination of settings or Proton version I use. The only way I've had to fix it is to mod the game to remove all the lower quality mipmap textures for the Advanced Suit or play it on console, where this issue is not present whatsoever.

I'd like to bump this issue. I'm using an AMD 9070XT. Adding [VKD3D_CONFIG=no_upload_hvv %command%] to my launch options fixes about 95% of it, and I don't have the textures reverting to lower resolutions like OP so far.
