Please describe your issue as accurately as possible. Include screenshots or videos if relevant

Software information

Rainbow 6 Siege X, https://www.protondb.com/app/359550

System information

  • GPU: Intel BMG
  • Driver: Mesa main branch
  • VKD3D-Proton version: using proton experimental

Log files

Please see Mesa issue: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/14913 with crash details and captured SPIRV file. It does not pass validation so we believe it could be a shader language translation issue.

The game just locks up on boot for me, but it doesn't crash really, so I cannot reproduce. Can you just dump the DXIL? The SPIR-V alone is useless.

mkdir /tmp/shaders, then

VKD3D_SHADER_DUMP_PATH=/tmp/shaders %command%

Run until it crashes, then upload the folder somewhere.

Thanks, I've added shaders tarball to the Mesa issue and also corresponding dxil to the 0xfail.comp attached in that issue that has the problem.
