Hi there. If the game uses shared resources for the videos, which i believe it might do, then it will not work on Windows
No logs, but I am going to assume that this isn't fixable due to D3D11 shared resources.
And again, do not use vkd3d-proton on Windows. There is nothing to gain. Performance will be worse. You will run into issues due to the way D3D12 games integrate with vendor-specific libraries or interactions with other APIs.
In reality, the game works better now than before. Previously, the frame rate would drop dramatically at random, but now most of the time it runs without any loss.
Nothing extracted yet.
I'm using dxvk + vkd3d proton to play Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. The d3d12 dll together with dxvk have almost completely fixed the fps drop problem that this game has. Now it occurs randomly and very slightly when the game switches to 30 fps for cutscenes and then returns to normal for gameplay. The mp4 video file that plays at the beginning is not visible, only the audio can be heard. Is there a way to fix this problem? I searched here in the reports and a user had written for another game in the series that a specific version fixed the problem, I tried it on Dream Drop Distance and it didn't work.
I am using a 4070
32 GB of RAM
Windows 11
The game uses a 64-bit exe.
