Can confirm. Removing shader cache USED to work, but it stopped. Here's my reddit post summarizing my findings Reddit post.
Not sure if it's a proton issue though as I think issue began to happen when 595 driver hit. Still worth checking. Previously removing vkd3d-proton.cache.write was enough, now nothing helps. Limiting fps by using DXVK_ASYNC=1 DXVK_FRAME_RATE=80 sometimes mitigates the issue, but not permanently.

" VKD3D_SWAPCHAIN_LATENCY_FRAMES=1"
This launch code fixed the problem, but it caused a significant performance hit.

We're aware that there's an issue on Nvidia.
On RTX 2050 Laptop (NVIDIA 595.84), using NVPRESENT_ENABLE_SMOOTH_MOTION=1 %command% with Proton Experimental eliminates the foliage flickering

When playing Arma Reforger on Linux (CachyOS), foliage and grass, frequently flicker, disappear, or "pop" in and out of existence. This issue seems to be exacerbated when GPU usage reaches 90-100%.
