At the very beginning of the game, when introducing main character there is a freeze during the cutscene when you're supposed to bow in front of Oda Nobunaga. You can skip the cutscene before the freeze happen and continue on to the next cutscene where another freeze will happen. At the time audio keeps on playing while the game is unresponsive.
Tested on Proton Experimental, Proton CachyOS. Result is the same in both versions. Proton GE shows black screen during startup.
