3D scene renders severely overexposed (clipped toward white), UI/menus unaffected. Same result at lowest settings, native resolution. Vulkan validation shows a real spec violation firing continuously during rendering, not just at startup:

VUID-VkImageMemoryBarrier2-oldLayout-01197: vkCmdPipelineBarrier2() transitions a depth/stencil image from VK_IMAGE_LAYOUT_DEPTH_STENCIL_READ_ONLY_OPTIMAL when its actual current layout is VK_IMAGE_LAYOUT_STENCIL_ATTACHMENT_OPTIMAL. Fires every frame, alternating between two depth/stencil resources.

Also seeing VUID-VkSwapchainCreateInfoKHR-flags-parameter at swapchain creation, lower confidence this one's meaningful (only 6 occurrences, could be validation layer header version lag).

A second independent report has the identical symptom on the same GPU family (Intel Iris Xe, ADL GT2), different machine and distro: https://www.protondb.com/app/2424010. The other 13 of 15 reports for this game are seemingly on AMD/Nvidia discrete GPUs with no such issue.
