That said, with descriptor_heap, it stays now on a black screen during startup and this happens since https://github.com/HansKristian-Work/vkd3d-proton/commit/7f410b766e2ffc5832b5c9b403fe291c0b16bff9 (bisected). But even before that commit, the game is not without issues when heap is enabled, there is some strange flickering on the cars in the showroom (directly after startup, on mouse click/move to change camera perspective). In-game (racing) seems to look fine though, but only briefly tested. This happens with both the latest NVIDIA 610 driver and the latest NVIDIA Vulkan development driver as of today.
As stated, without descriptor_heap enabled everything looks fine.
