Symptoms
The game crashes after 5-10 minutes of playing. A complete crash to desktop. Everything runs normally. I'm in a mission. Then a sudden exit occurs. This happens both in gaming mode and desktop mode. With both Wayland and X11. In a similar game in the series. Battle for Normandy. Graphical glitches occur with the trees. Which shows that a crash is about to happen. All this happen on SteamOS 3.8 only. 3.7 version works fine.
Reproduction
Make sure SteamOS 3.8 is installed. Start the game and start a scenario. I would start the "Assault" Scenario. The game simply exits after 5 minutes. This error does not occur on 3.7.
