Confirmed this is working for me also

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Eight-Core Processor

With Proton 3.16-7 it also works perfect for me. Tested in DX9 and DX11.

The game appears to be flawless for me too, good performance and worked fine with a Nintendo Switch Pro controller. Cut-scene videos were played back as expected. I did not try multiplayer, but the game did find online servers. Including logs for reference.
(the game does give a warning about unsupported videocard on launch, but it does that on windows too)

Hi, game runs perfectly but always crashes at the same point, right near the end of Mission 2 of Act 3. Graphics freeze but music and sound effects keep playing, and my computer locks up and needs to be rebooted.
I've tried removing all downloaded game content and reinstalling from scratch, and it does exactly the same thing at exactly the same time.
I submitted a help request to Steam and was redirected here with the following message -
_"All Steam Play & Linux issues are handled on GitHub at this time. Through GitHub, you can work with the development team & the Community to report bugs and request help with any issues you may be experiencing.

I'd REALLY like to finish this game, please help!. Many thanks.
Hello @Zeph77, please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch options, reproduce the crash, and attach the generated $HOME/steam-$APPID.log to this issue report as a file. (Proton logs compress well if needed.)

Apologies, $HOME/steam-$APPID.log file attached -
From the log, fixme:d3dcompiler:compile_shader Compilation target "gs_5_0" not yet supported looks suspiciously close to the access violation (c0000005) where the game falls over, but they are in different threads and there's a small time gap.
So, sorry, what does this actually mean for me? Is this something that can be / is being looked into? Should I contact Steam for a refund if the game is unfinishable?
