This has also been reported in several posts on protondb. The game runs well at first, but after two hours of play, once the map loads, my frame rate drops to less than 10 fps and it becomes unplayable. Performance in this game is very poor. less than half the frame rate on Windows.
Reproduction
Play corsair cove. Pass tutorial. Island with 3 camps. Game patched with patch 3.
