@PotatoAndSickle Thank you for the report.
The graphical issue should be gone now on Proton Bleeding Edge. It will trickle down to other 11 based builds as they pull in this update with time.
@Blisto91 Thanks for the quick fix
Any hope or suggestions with fixing the stuttering? I can't upload videos showing frametimes/hitches/etc on github are we allow to upload videos to youtube and post the link here?
I haven't personally looked at that no. And yes you can link to external videos.
@Blisto91 Better late then never but, here's the video: https://youtu.be/cX3_Z8FqFbA
This is a fresh launch of the game to show case the issue under the worst circumstance. Stuttering improves a bit after about an hour, however its still present.
Testing other Call Of Duty games doesn't have this level of stuttering.
Kinda looks like shader compilation. At least some of it.
Could you record a video with DXVK_HUD=full instead of mangohud?

Symptoms
The issue this game has are as follows.
Reproduction
Graphical artifacts on Proton 11.0 or newer. (fixed in bleeding edge as of 10/09/2026)
Reverting back to Proton 9.0-4 fixes this issue.
Frequent stuttering
This is self explanatory.
When making fine mouse movements the cursor likes to move to the top left of the primary display
This is potentially an XWayland issue as forcing the Wine-Wayland driver in a Proton version such as CachyOS Proton fixes this issue.
Note: This is not the only game to be effected by this issue. call of duty games using the IW engine from Cod 1 - MW Remaster are affected.
