Hello @Lynsathier, we're using one issue report per unofficially supported game title, so I've gone ahead and transferred this issue report to https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/4886#issuecomment-5839999392.

System Information
I confirm:
Symptoms
The game starts and is playable, but its memory usage grows without a practical limit. It eventually consumes about 25–26 GiB of resident RAM and about 29–30 GiB of swap. Once RAM and the 32 GiB zram swap are exhausted, the kernel OOM killer terminates the Goose Goose Duck process. Hyprland then segfaults in libaquamarine, ending the graphical session.
This occurred four times on September 25, 2026. At the OOM events, only 28–156 KiB of 32 GiB swap remained free.
Representative kernel records:
The OOM victim is the game process itself, not steam.exe or wine64. The issue reproduced after restarting the graphical session and the computer.
Reproduction
Expected Result
Memory usage should remain bounded and the game should not trigger a system-wide OOM condition.
