Symptoms

Apparently, when I tried to play Half-Life 1 VR, it crashes Steam, and itself, as interfering SteamVR with both (Losing its functionality and losing its Welcome label), and I have to reset Steam's Config folder every time to fix it, but doesn't fix the game from ever corrupting SteamVR. Good Thing the problem was caught on the Proton Log, I've included it.

Reproduction

I can reset the Config folder by deleting it, and then relogin my account afterwards. But? It won't fix the game from ever trying to corrupt the Steam Config folder. So for now on, I have to wait until either the game or SteamVR itself on Linux are fixed, luckily no other VR Games like Half-Life 2 VR Mod (Including Ep 1 & 2), Half-Life Alyx and more (Except games like Half-Life 1 VR Mod) are seem to be playable without corrupting Steam's Config folder, breaking SteamVR functionality and its Welcome label.

Here's a Config folder, if you want to find it: /home/"USERNAME"/Steam/config/, /home/"USERNAME"/.steam/steam/config/ or /home/"USERNAME"/.local/share/Steam/config/

Nothing extracted yet.
