Game runs and display menu but crashes on clicking new. Shaders misbehave as well.

Reproduction

Download the demo of Ridiculous Space Battles, run and select new.

Partial solution

protontricks 5332460 -q d3dx9 d3dcompiler_43 d3dcompiler_47 fixes the crash but the shaders are going wild.
