Hello @OtherGame450, we're using one issue report per unofficially supported game title, so I've gone ahead and transferred this issue report to https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/8671#issuecomment-6192647522.

Compatibility Report
System Information
I confirm:
steam-2300320.log
Symptoms
The MOZA Farming Control System panel is a relatively new device. When connecting the panel via USB, the game recognizes the panel as an XInput Gamepad and treats the panel as a generic xbox-like controller. Each axis is mis-labeled and only half of the buttons are recognized. Farming Simulator 25 is the primary game, but I was able to duplicate this behavior in a few other games (Derail Valley and a couple of other controller supported games). Steam Input also seems to recognize the control panel, but also attempts to set it up like a gamepad.
Reproduction
-Plug in Moza FCS
-Launch game
-Attempt to bind controls and fail successfully
-Reproduce problem in multiple Proton versions and multiple games
-Disable Steam Input, no fix
Workaround
Using information I found from a user having issues with a Virpil flight stick, I put together a solution that is currently working for me. I have a copy of this posted in the Discussion section of the Farming Simulator 25 Community Hub.
To make it work, try the following steps (replace 0x346e/0x0030 with your specific USB device ID):
Run terminal command
and find the line Gudsen MOZA Farming Control System. Note down the ID number. In this case, I have 346e:0030 (Vendor ID / VID is 346e, Product ID / PID is 0030)
Make sure, the wine-proton prefix isn't running (stop the game)
In the game properties, change your launch options to
Go to the compatdata directory of the affected game and create a backup of pfx/system.reg at some other location
Open pfx/system.reg in a text editor and remove all whole sections which contain values or names with these:
lines containing both vid_346e and pid_0030
lines containing both VID_346e and PID_0030
(For this step, I did a search for "vid_346e&pid_0030" without case sensitivity)
Ensure that you have deployed udev rules for your controller. You should find a file in /etc/udev/rules.d containing something like these:
(if not, create 60-steam-input.rules with those lines and reboot)
Use
to create and open the file then write the rule in the file and save. [Ctrl+S, then Ctrl+X]
You can reload the rules with
and apply them with
(or simply reboot).
Now start the game: Your MOZA FCS should now be properly detected.
