In any games, they don't recognize special characters like éèàù…
(en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8 and fr_FR.UTF-8 UTF-8 in /etc/locale.gen are uncommented)
Steps for reproducing this issue:
With a non-US keyboard (french azerty in my case), try Dragon Age: Origins, Red Faction, Titan Quest, Dungeon Siege or others games and hit a special character in the game or try to reassignate in the options.
