I forgot to mention that a connected xbox360 controller used in-game will make it unplayable (controls up / down goes mad).
Problem solved by installing xact with this command : WINEPREFIX=/YOURSTEAMFOLDER/steamapps/compatdata/409890/pfx/ winetricks xact

The game launch and is playable, but there's no sound, here's the error I got after launching the game :
"Failed to create sound engine. SE or BGM may not play properly.
The issue might be resolved by installing "Direct X End User Runtime"
For more details, please check the "About DirectX, section in the Sword City manual."
