@kisak-valve hi, reporting in, the game is not launching (neither experimental nor hotfix nor older versions of proton like 8 or 5)

Also, title is misleading, as the ID (235380) is not only for the Demo's but for the actual game (as demo's is 673410). It would be wise to remove the 'Demo' word from title in order not to confuse users and devs.

Hello @krixkrax1, looking over this issue report, it's not clear if the opening post feedback was for appid 235380 or 673410 and there's no technical details for a Proton dev to ponder. To avoid ambiguity, I think we should make an exception here and start over from scratch. Please open a new compatibility report with the details requested in the template.
Hello @logan001, if you're still experiencing the behavior you mentioned in https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/1259#issue-357402256 with a current point release of Proton, please either open a new compatibility report focusing on the Demo (673410) along with the other details requested in the compatibility report template.

Additional update, as I'm experimenting right now.
It seems there's something with the Launcher.exe
I tried to manually run it via protontricks, and I got an error message:
(sorry I don't know how to set it to english, but it translates as: Path cannot be found --or something like that.)
Furthermore, I then manually launched a b3.exe (again with Protontricks) which is found under Client/b3.exe, it then started, but language is now Russian (its not respecting steam's english setting), and it's erroring out with xml not found and such. I manually copied over those to my home folder where it was looking for, but then never progressed further, the loading screen was still stuck, just like that.
Then I was like, maybe it's in the wrong starting location, since Z: is always bound to / by default, so I launched winecfg again from protontricks (from the prefix ofcourse), and bound my Z: to /home/username/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Blitzkrieg3 in the hope that it's gonna find all the stuffs its looking for, then retried with Launcher.exe and b3.exe but to no avail. My wild guess is that there's something wrong with the pathing.
Nothing extracted yet.
Game starts.
In the 5-10 minutes that i've played:
The graphics set at max works nice except no unit is rendered. i can see weapons but no unit.
FPS is caped at 60 fps.
In settings menu in controls tab there is a list box that is empty but has scroll bar.
