Hello @Shatrico, please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch options and drag and drop the generated $HOME/steam-$APPID.log into the comment box.
Any news on this?
I got it fixed:
You have to download api-ms-win-crt-string-l1-1-0.dll and ucrtbase.dll, put them into the game directory where the .exe is. Run in the Terminal the following command: WINEPREFIX=/PATH_TO_STEAM/steamapps/compatdata/324510/pfx winecfg And replace PATH_TO_STEAM with your path to the Steam library in which this game is installed. And now set both dlls to native (windows).
Hello, we added a missing function that this game wanted to Proton 3.16-5, and it seems to start up for me now. Can you retest and see if there are remaining issues?
I reversed my fix and started it. It works and I have more FPS with the same graphics settings as with my fix applied.
Any other issues that would block this issue report from going back to a whitelist request?
There is an Issue but don't know how to categorise it because it appears for me with Lutris, when i applied my fix and now after your fix: When i want to switch the items in my hand and scroll it skips 1 item. This does not happen when i use an Xbox controller or when i played the game on windows. Is there something in Wine/Proton which could produce this bug? Else there are no other issues so if this bug is fixed the gaming experience equal to Windows.
Its working fine but there is still an issue that Proton is registering the input twice of the scroll wheel
Edit: retested it with Proton 4.15 Glorious Eggroll 4 and there the error does not occour but there i cant use my xbox controller anymore
Edit2: Game is working fine with Proton 4.11-12 @kisak-valve no further issues and my mentioned issues are fixed
