Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
The online component of the game works with Proton 3.7 but not with Proton 3.16: connection attempts all fail. (I tested 3.7-8 and 3.16-4.)
Wrong game. I saw “Hitman 2” but didn't notice “Silent Assassin”.
Hello @NotMrFlibble, with Proton 3.16-4, please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch options, reproduce your issue, and drag and drop the generated $HOME/steam-$APPID.log into the comment box. Also, please copy your system information from steam (Steam -> Help -> System Information) and put it in a gist, then include a link to the gist in this issue report.

Runs great out of the box. Using the OpenGL render is faster, but certain graphical effects are missing. Direct3D looks alot better. Very similar behavior with Hitman: Codename 47 (https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/1576).
Game works fine with proton 5.0-2.
