Since Valve has done Steam Play and sort of added the options for Steam Play onto the steam's settings menu would it be better to add Steam Play's Proton feature into Steam's runtime and then remove the settings option to activate Steam Play? This could then be worked on being improved majorly by the developers when ever and might save time if it fully got integrated into runtime and the Steam Play settings menu could be changed to include workarounds and options to lets say fix the screen resolutions for classic games such as 7 Wonders 2, Pharoah & Cleopatra etc. Could this option be considered and if it did get fully integrated into runtime itself it would mean that all Windows games would be automatically be enabled on Linux if I'm correct.
