I'm on a Vega 64 now so I can't compare apples to apples. It's not crashing, but it's very broken for me on Proton 4.2-3

  • On first launch, a 4:3 fullscreen game window opened, and then vanished when I clicked on it. Had to drop to a TTY and kill Game.exe .. all I was able to see was the desktop but I couldn't interact with it or alt-tab to it.
  • Every time I try to run the game now, Steam shows the game as running, and the game window only appears for about half a second, and disappears. I can access my desktop, but I have to kill the process again

Game is non functional for me.

UPDATE: The game will randomly work, maybe one out of 10 attempts. As you said, glitchy in full screen but technically works. Most of the time the game window disappears on launch. I can't seem to find any pattern to it

Now, I'm not sure what window manager you use, but for me when window disappears it can be found if I press Alt + Tab. Picking the window there gets it back onto my desktop and I can press Alt + Enter to get into fullscreen after which its perfectly playable. I'm not sure what glitches you find in fullscreen, care to get into further detail?
