Symptoms

The game needs xact installed and xaudio2_7 set to native, otherwise it crashes on the first loading screen. The game runs fine then, however when exiting the game, it still crashes. The game error.log reports an access violation of user32.dll, I've attached that error.log file and the proton log when xact is installed:

With Proton Version 3.16-6 and by that FAudio, the games audio works out of the box. The game is then fully playable. However, it still crashes on exit and forces me to kill the defunct process.

@aeikum The crash on exit is indeed fixed with 3.16-7. I haven't done a fully play test yet, but if nothing new breaks, I would consider this whitelist ready.

I've seen a video placeholder (which means a video codec(s) related meta-issue) on the start of the game (right before the menu appears), current stable Proton 6.3-3.
