This game crashes when pressing A button when i try to enter main menu, but only if i have SteamInput enabled, i tried the game with "force off" on game parameters and it work flawlessly.
I'm using a XBOX One S Controller.

  • GPU: RX VEGA 56
  • Driver/LLVM version: Mesa 19.2.0-devel/9.0.0
  • Distro version: Linux Mint 19.1 Tessa (64 bit) (Cinnamon Desktop)
  • Proton version: 4.2-4
    system_info.txt

I can confirm that the game works without issues, I did not experience a crash hitting A on the controller when entering main menu. I suspect that what KibaGasteiz reported is not a crash but actually wrong controller mappings. Because hitting A enters main menu, but hitting B quits the game.

I did not test Co-Op or Multiplayer

  • Fullscreen and Windowed mode works
  • Switching between desktop and game works
  • Minimizing Window and bringing it up again works
  • Nintendo Switch Pro Controller works
  • Performance is as expected
  • Cut-scenes work (game uses Bink Video files have the extension .vp)

Including log of some gameplay for scrutiny

It wasn't wrong controller mappings, that was a Proton3.16 issue. The game works fine since 4.2 as i reported here 2 months ago: https://www.protondb.com/app/247950
It should be whitelisted, i've tested online and works.
