Compatibility Report

  • Steam AppID of the game: 230780

System Information

  • GPU: GTX 980-Ti
  • Driver/LLVM version: 396.54.09
  • Kernel version: 4.18.16 (Manjaro)
  • Link to full system information report as Gist
  • Proton version: 3.16-4 beta

I confirm:

  • [x] that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
  • [x] that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.

Symptoms

  • Requires dotnet40 or greater. (For WPF)
  • Unknown level of stability (have experienced a freeze/crash twice, first by clicking the Nevigo Help Center menu button after my first launch, then when messing with flow fragments in a later launch. It also sometimes freezes and slows down temporarily when interacting with elements.)
  • Need to delete ProjectInfo.lck manually if the program crashes to re-open project (same issue on windows; program has poor crash handling)
  • I would recommend saving very frequently if anyone intends to use this program on linux to avoid losing work.

Reproduction

To be able to run the software, I ran protontricks 230780 -q dotnet40 to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0.
The software seems to run perfectly fine after this, but more testing is required to determine how stable it is. I have experienced 2 crashes, but after brief testing the program seems to have full functionality.

I have revisited this program, and been using it. It works good now, I've used it for several hours today and yesterday without any crashes.

However I ran into a new problem where if I am writing in a text field, the program updates the field very slow, and may sometimes hang (for a few seconds) before allowing me to interact with another element after using it.

To describe it more specifically, lets say I have a text field to write a description for an element. I click that and I don't get a blinking I icon like I should, I can start typing and it will work, but I will have to wait (sometimes as long as 10 seconds) before the text I wrote will show up.

I can still write just fine, but it's like it's updating the text fields very very long after I type in the words. It is strange.

Nothing extracted yet.
