steam-556740.zip

Symptoms

Game unplayable due to screen remaining black at the very beginning of the game.

Reproduction

Launch the game and start anew, as soon as there is a cutscene the screen will remain black, trying to skip the intro won't solve the problem.

Nnicomegadrive 2018-11-23 github

Tried again the game with an old save, seems the whole game is running fine and pretty well (used an old save to check), the only problem are the cutscenes freezing the whole game.

Does someone knows if it's related to a decoding problem, is there any way around it using Winetricks ?

On Proton 6.3-8, the intro video when starting a new game is black and skipping it does not work.

On Proton Experimental, the intro video shows up as what I can best describe as a "TV test screen", but skipping it works and allows you to play the actual game.
