Symptoms

The game starts up OOTB and runs pretty great. But when a gamepad is connected, it will scroll to the left all the time, which breaks the menu and the actual gameplay. The game uses Xinput for gamepad support.

connect a gamepad to the computer
start the game
try to play with the gamepad

With Proton 3-16-8 the gamepad issue is gone for me. No issue left for me.
