It's a game using Valve's CEG, it won't run. Keep in eye on this thread for updates..

Game now boots properly with combination of latest beta Steam client+ Proton Experimental after CEG DRM related changes.

But crashes here when "press start" action happens.

I was able to Replicate the same behavior as @Leopard1907, upon pressing start, game hangs then crashes to desktop

I was able to open the settings configuration and configure the game settings, but could not get past the title screen.

Game needs d3dcompiler_43 which can be installed with protontricks 211160 d3dcompiler_43. It resolves crashing after pressing start and game can be played. Sound at cutscenes is very stuttery but i don't know why.

well I didn't mess around with proton tricks, but on the newest experimental it gets past the titlescreen and plays the cutscene, but while the video plays fine, the audio is extremely stuttery, and once you get to gameplay, the gameplay is also very stuttery. I haven't played for a long time to see if this goes away, as the stuttering was bad enough it made play impossible. I'll do a longer session tomorrow to see if the stuttering goes away after giving it some time.

Did a longer play session tonight, no game stuttering after I let it sit for a bit, but audio stuttering was still intermittent in dialog. Didn't notice it in combat at all but it was intermittent enough that it could have been there just not easily noticeable.
