    Nothing happens when launching the game, Steam client just says running for a couple of seconds, tried with different Proton versions. (There is a Sniper Elite V2 (63380) on Steam too but that does not work either because of CEG DRM).

For the record, the game uses Bink Video.

Hello @AwesamLinux, did you run out of storage on the Steam library with this game's wineprefix? It looks like there's things missing with a bunch of file too short messages in the logs.

@kisak-valve there should have been plenty of free space. However I now tried uninstalling and re-downloading the game, and it launches now!

The install must have been corrupt/incomplete, hmm... almost certain I tried verifying file integrity too. Anyway false alarm :)

@PapaScho seems to be working over here. Go to the game's properties on steam and add the following to launch parameters: PROTON_LOG=1 %command%

Next time you run the game you'll get a log file in your home folder called steam-7300.log, upload it here. Also, list your hardware, and give some more information regarding the error. Does the error happen every time you try to launch the game or does it happen when you're in game?
