Game works with proton 5.0 and the following proton tricks command:

I merged a fix into Wine Mono for this, a .msi build is available here: https://github.com/madewokherd/mono/actions/runs/1140664798

For now, this also requires WINE_MONO_OVERRIDES=Microsoft.Xna.Framework.*,Gac=y, but I have some changes in the works that will fix that.
