Looks like your system is affected by #2927. Unrelated, it looks like this game uses the Media Foundation framework.

But the intro video won't play, i assume that the crash has something to do with this video somehow.

As a follow-up, I just tested with Proton 10.0 Beta, and the game worked perfectly; didn't test online however since netplay is pretty much dead.
Seems 10.0 fixed the intro videos, perhaps added the needed codec.

@mrdc switching proton versions is considered as an "activation" for proton, if you switch too much in a given day you'll get locked for 24 hours

I was thinking that Denuvo protected games are not supported at all.

I only changed Proton version once from default to 10. This is on my Deck where the default version was running quite well despite missing the intro videos.
