Symptoms

launchers shows just the word "error" and does not launch

Can confirm 3 years after the latest report, a variety of this issue is still persistent.

Tried it through the Steam Deck, made a report on it, and now we're waiting for the next refresh.

But for now here's what I've tried and got.

DXVK through ProtonTricks in case it's a driver thing. It does not work.

The launcher's all bugged out and black except the news and ad windows, and every time I click on the "Language drop-down menu", the dashboard for the launcher briefly shows before it crashes.

Launched it through Desktop Mode. Though still unstable, it only works there to the point of getting past the crashes to actually launch the game itself.

Launching the game gets me a "Create Engine Fail!! Error Code : 0", and a "0x0000274C" whenever I try submitting the problem.

This could be worth looking into if it gets us that one step closer to improving Proton.

Still persistent. Only thing I can confirm is Xalia working on the Error Report window.
