Game crashes after few minutes from launch, but game's "settings and launch" won't crash.

Reproduction

  1. Launch the game;
  2. Set up settings in launcher;
  3. Start playing by pressing any key;
  4. The game will crash in few minutes after that.

Hello @TheChertila, your log contains eventfd: Too many open files. Please run ulimit -Hn and verify it is a high value and not 4096.

As a side note, your video driver is older than the minimum requirement for Proton, so you may encounter other issues like a lack of Transform Feedback support.

This guide helps. Changing ulimit -Hn value to cat /proc/sys/fs/file-max has solved the problem.

Hello, is anyone seeing an issue with this game and Proton 4.11 that would block it from being whitelisted?

Works perfectly fine from 4.11 upwards. Personally ran it on 4.11 and 5.0 with no issues, including controller support

Proton version: 5.0-9
Crashes occasionally (during area transitions).
With PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 no crashes occur (played for ~4h) and the game can be played from start to finish. No performance loss or any issues noted other than above.
