When proton 4.11-9 released games would launch fine with no issues and these are all games that aren't native, but recently when I try to start any non-native game they all give the sign they are about to start and then go back to "press the play button" pretty much nothing happening, the most annoying thing about it is, native games work fine so this is a proton issue, also using a custom proton GE 4.21-GE-1 works fine and launches games, it might be still a hard drive issue because I unmounted my drive with my steam lib so I can uninstall steam and have a fresh install of steam, and ALSO that doesnt work because it looks like it saves some information in a dir (not %100 sure if this is true but it seems like it) so the issue is steam wont launch games with proton changing to a older version seems to work but the latest one doesn't even want to launch games even though it worked before.

I love to debug this issue, so please help.

Edit: Just throwing this out there, but could steam maybe not detect that a proton version is installed when selecting a different proton some games need to update, but with 4.11-9 nothing happens hmm.

Okay heres the solution, It looks like Steam doesnt check if the proton version is installed aka if I delete the proton folder steam will try to access a non existent folder, making it fail to launch to fix this issue I have had to go to tools and proton 4.11-9 and go to proprieties and verify the proton version then restart steam and it should work!
