In short: Steam Beta running on Fedora 31, using Flatpak. X11 and proprietary NVidia drivers.

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I was playing Prey 2017 (app/480490) using Proton 5.0.4 While playing, there were 2 earlier crashes but I kept playing. After the third crash, I noticed a patern: Whenever I got an achievement (and associated popup), it crashed monements later.

At the time of writing, I had three crashes, related to the three achievements I have right now:

Use first plasmind: Know Thy Self
Use recycle grenede effectively: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Discover NPC's hidden stash: Coffee Break

Steps for reproducing this issue:

The easiest achievement would be 'Know Thy Self'
Ensure you don't have the achievement already
Start the game using Proton 5.0.4
Run through the intro and get the plasmind and jam it in your eye

Game crash. Come to think of it, this might belong in the proton indeed.

Also, I was just able to reproduce the issue with clockwork precision. Get an achievement, crash in seconds...

Please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch options, reproduce the crash, and drag and drop the generated $HOME/steam-$APPID.log into the comment box.

In general Proton logs compress well, so if Github isn't happy with the file size, consider throwing it into an archive.
