Unfortunately, BattlEye currently does not work with Proton, so the information is unlikely to make a difference one way or another unless we hear about some progress with that.
Why did you close the ticket?
With the news of battleye coming to Linux I figured that this issue would be resolved sooner or later.
True, but it would still be nice to keep this game compatibility ticket opened.
I have reopened this issue now. Hopefully it will be convenient some other time.
