Symptoms

when i launch the game it ask me to sign in with ether steam
or a risk account so i have to click a button to chose
i can hover my mouse over the buttons and it will
enlarge to indicate that i can click on it but when i click it
it shrinks back to it's normal size and neither button
will expand anymore to be clear no other thing happens when
i click other than this

the game appears to work fine for me now

the issue I was having was my window manager doesn't work well with wine some games work fine others don't IDK
