Operating System: Manjaro KDE 19.0.2 64-bit
Proton Version: 5.0.5
Game/Application: World Explorer (BGDA Explorer) [Direct Download v0.0.2]

Hello, I am an amateur Blender user trying to rig and animate characters.
I use this program to bring old game character models back to life in Blender.

Currently, World Explorer doesn't work with any of the Steam Play compatibility tools, including Proton v5.0.5. In other words, after pressing play, nothing happens and the Play button is still green.

Before migrating to Manjaro Linux, I had some luck with Lutris (I think Wine was installed as a dependency), but it still had some issues like interface bugs and not being able to export the 3D model as .OBJ. This was around the time of Proton v4.2 release. I think it was using a 64bit Prefix with Proton 4.2, and needed to install dotnet4.6

Someone told me earlier that I can avoid installing Wine system wide and just use Steam Play to slightly minimize the risk of any rogue windows applications. So I didn't bother installing Wine on Manjaro and just remained with whatever Steam has.
