I think my issue might be due to #1549. So maybe the game itself can be whitelisted.
Hi @kisak-valve it turns out that it wasn't a game issue (my problem was fixed by following #1549). I've converted this to a whitelist request, please add new label :)
Game presents audio crackling issues in some movie parts i.e. The Collapsing Condo Dojo
So I suggest first to fix those issues.
Using Proton 5.0-9
I logged a ProtonDB entry here: https://www.protondb.com/app/640590#KrDejSByq4
Would be good if ProtonDB was integrated to game issue trackers in GitHub per game to automatically post/add an entry if the flag is not positive and the content has enough description and data to at least start the conversation and investigation.
Obviously it may not have all the logs or data required but that can be solved by an auto-email back to the poster to add the command parameters to get logs or any kind of per-requisite. At least the entry got in, and the conversation started.
Anyways, for my Ninjago case:

@kisak-valve Been a while since I've in these issue trackers, please let me know if I'm supposed to log a "new issue" or if just commenting here in this thread will suffice?
Hello @StatusCode404, this is the right place for all feedback related to this game. Please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch options and attach the generated $HOME/steam-$APPID.log to this issue report as a file. (Proton logs compress well if needed.)
Also, in the future, please attach your system info as a gist instead of copy/pasting it inline with the rest of your comment. It would be useful to also have the extended diagnostics information to ponder, which was omitted from the system info in your previous post.
Hi @kisak-valve I have attached two logs to my original post to keep it all together:
I would like to confirm this now works with proton7.0-4
