Key remapping is highly unreliable. Some keys remap first time, others need repeated attempts to exit and enter the keep mapping screen. Sometimes on entering the key remapping menu all values reset to defaults.

This seems to be broken again. The game fails to launch. I tried to start it on the steam deck (stable channel , 256 LCD) and after a few seconds it returns back to steam. I tried various versions of proton but they all have the same effect.

For reference I tried the following proton versions but there was no change in behaviour.
