I confirm:

[X] that pressing the Play button in the Steam client is sufficient.
[ ] that runtime config options are necessary to run the game.
[X] that no workarounds other than PROTON_* env variables are necessary.

Issues

[ ] I haven't experienced any issues.
[X] There are no issues left open for this game.
[X] Although I consider the gaming experience equal to Windows there are remaining issues:

Works perfectly unless you override turning on DirectX 12 in the menu (which causes it to crash on boot.)

While it's not necessary, I would recommend disabling Direct3D 12 libraries in the Proton options for this game for it's whitelist profile to prevent this potentially troublesome user error. I am unaware if other video cards may actually have issues with it falsely detecting appropriate DirectX 12 capability.

As a note, there are reports that players have experienced difficulty with DirectX 12 in Windows as well.

Additionally, it's worth noting that this game is in early access and a Linux Native version of this game is planned.
