  • Steam AppID of the game: 408900

System Information

  • GPU: AMD Radeon VII
  • Driver/LLVM version: Mesa 20.1.4/ACO
  • Kernel version: 5.7.9
  • Link to full system information report as Gist:
  • Proton version: 5.0.9 & 4.11

I confirm:

  • [x] that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
  • [x] that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.

Proton log:

https://decloud.owncube.com/s/sGPJ0rRY60vblFB
log was created with Proton 5.0.9

Symptoms

No sound except for the intro video, although it sounds very distorted (might be intentional by the game, idk).

Reproduction

Start the game with Proton 5.0.9 and get to the main menu and/or join a game.

Additional notes

I've also tested this with Proton 4.11 and sound is working then. If I then switch back to Proton 5.0.9 sound keeps working.

Same scenario for me, starting the game using 4.11 fixed the sound issue, the sound worked correctly in newer proton releases thereafter.. Here's a log when trying to start it using 5.0.9

Compatibility Report

  • Name of the game with compatibility issues:
  • Steam AppID of the game: 408900

System Information

  • GPU: RX 570 8 GB
  • Driver/LLVM version: Mesa-tkg-git 21
  • Kernel version: 5.10.6-zen
  • Proton version: all versions have been tested

I confirm:

  • [X] that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
  • [X] that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.

Symptoms

Audio game is fine, but the game doesn't recognize the microphone, and thus you can't talk to other players in the match. From what I have heard in their discord they use the Windows default communication device as an input device, and proton can't handle this. The communication is fundamental to the game and then at this point it is unenjoyable.

Reproduction

Install game
Start game
Ask players If mic does not work
(Spoiler: it doesn't)
