Symptoms Cannot launch the native Vulkan version of the game.

Reproduction

1 - Launch game as per current compat report (Proton 4.2)
2 - Set game to use Vulkan instead of DX11 - game will say you need to restart
3 - Exit game
4 - Set Steam to Launch game with Proton 5.0.9
5 - Start game. Reaches launcher, but main game fails to launch.
